Tennant S16 Ride On Sweeper

The Tennant S16 Ride On Sweeper is a compact, battery-powered industrial sweeper designed to deliver high productivity, excellent dust control and fume-free operation across a wide range of indoor cleaning environments. Its compact dimensions make it well suited to warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centres, car parks and other large commercial or industrial areas.

With Tennant's MaxPro™ sweeping technology, consistent power is delivered to the main brush to maintain effective cleaning across different floor surfaces and debris types. The S16 provides a 1170mm sweeping path with a single side brush, increasing to 1520mm with optional dual side brushes, while the 810mm main brush provides effective collection of fine dust and larger debris.

A multi-stage filtration system helps contain airborne dust during sweeping. The standard panel filter captures particles down to 1 micron at 97.7% efficiency, while an optional H13 HEPA filtration system provides filtration down to 0.3 microns at 99.95% efficiency for environments requiring enhanced dust control.

The S16 is available in two hopper configurations: High Dump and Low Dump. Both versions provide a 150-litre hopper, but they are designed for different waste-handling requirements.

The High Dump model uses a powered lifting system to raise the hopper to a maximum 1570mm dumping height, with a 740mm dump reach. This allows debris to be emptied directly into larger waste containers without requiring the operator to manually handle the collected material. The High Dump hopper also provides a higher maximum debris weight capacity of 159kg.

The Low Dump model uses a simpler manual emptying arrangement with Tennant's VarioHeight™ handle and can be equipped with optional removable debris bins. It is suited to applications where waste is emptied at ground level and offers a lower overall machine weight. The Low Dump version has a maximum hopper weight capacity of 91kg, compared with 159kg for the High Dump model.

Operator controls are kept simple with the 1-Step™ start button, while Eco-Mode™ reduces vacuum fan speed to extend battery runtime and lower operating noise. Large non-marking corner rollers help protect surrounding fixtures, while easy-to-identify maintenance points simplify routine servicing.
