Tennant X2 ROVR Robotic Scrubber Dryer

The Tennant X2 ROVR Robotic Scrubber Dryer is a compact autonomous floor cleaning machine designed to deliver consistent, repeatable scrubbing performance in tight, high-traffic spaces. Built for environments where larger robotic machines may be unsuitable, the X2 ROVR is ideal for retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, transport hubs, and commercial facilities where space is limited but cleaning standards remain high.

With a 406mm dual-disc scrubbing path, the X2 ROVR provides effective floor cleaning in narrow aisles, corridors, entrances, and congested public spaces. Its small circular footprint allows the machine to pivot in place, enabling tight turns and precise navigation in areas where conventional scrubber dryers may struggle.

Powered by SelfPath™ AI and advanced vision technology, the X2 ROVR plans, adapts, and optimises its cleaning behaviour in dynamic environments. The machine uses a front-facing perception system combining 2D camera and 3D LiDAR for obstacle detection and navigation, helping it operate reliably around people, fixtures, and changing layouts.

The X2 ROVR is designed to be simple for operators to deploy and manage. Tennant’s SmartSetup™ self-deployment system helps reduce training requirements, while the intuitive touchscreen interface and on-demand training support make everyday operation straightforward.

For cleaning performance, the machine uses dual-disc scrubbing with 25lb / 11.3kg of downforce, helping deliver a consistent visible clean while reducing the need for manual labour. The compact design allows cleaning to be carried out more frequently in areas that are traditionally difficult to maintain with larger equipment.

The machine features velocity-controlled solution flow, automatically adjusting water output to match the robot’s operating speed. This helps maintain consistent solution application across both open and congested areas while reducing water waste and improving efficiency.

For low-touch operation, the optional X2 Dock RFSH™ can manage battery charging, recovered water disposal, clean water refill, and chemical dosing, reducing manual intervention and improving run-to-run consistency.
